NCRPO, in partnership with the Philippine Overeas Employment Administration (POEA), conducted Three Day Capability Enhancement Seminar on September 25 to 27, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Sitio Lucio Resort, Pulong Buhangin, Bulacan. The activity was attended by 27 POEA personnel from the Anti-Illegal Recruitment Branch and Regional Overseas Coordinating Office.
During the activity, PSSg Charlie Heirdin E Tan, Action PNCO, PIS, RCADD discussed the common modus operandi, crime prevention tips, self-defense, arresting techniques, harmful effects of illegal drugs, human rights, anti-violence against women, and use of force theories followed by the actual demonstrations and performance of unarmed defense, distance bridging, unbalancing, and arresting technique drills.
A total of 27 Pulis Serbis Balita gazettes and 189 flyers on Crime Prevention, Anti-Violence Against Women and Children, Anti-Rape, Earthquake Preparedness, Typhoon/Flood Preparedness, Anti-Illegal Drugs, and Anti-Bomb Threat containing ISMOT Hotline numbers of the NCRPO were distributed during the said activity.
