BISHOP OF THE MILITARY ORDINARIATE OF THE PHILIPPINES OFFICIATED THE 8TH MISA DE GALLO IN NCRPO AND BLESSED THE NEWLY ACQUIRED PATROL JEEPS

Be a Blessing to others in our words, in our deeds because we have been blessed by God.” Most Reverend Oscar Jaime L Florencio, Bishop of the Military Ordinariate of the Philippines stated during his homily on the 8th Misa de Gallo he officiated at St Joseph Chapel, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City on December 23, 2020.

Likewise, National Capital Region Police Office Chief PBGEN Vicente D Danao Jr extended his gratitude to Most Rev Florencio for officiating the 8th Misa de Gallo with NCRPO personnel. He also reiterated that everyone should keep safe this holiday season. “Pagbalik niyo sa inyong bahay, keep safe always because the threat of Covid is still here not only about Covid but also threat about criminality, anti-terrorism and anti-illegal drugs.”

Subsequently, Most Rev. Florencio blessed 10 (ten) units of Patrol Jeeps Single Cab Ax2 Toyota Hilux which was procured through the Capability Enhancement Programs of the PNP. The newly acquired additional vehicles for NCRPO will further boost the mobility and operational capabilities of Team NCRPO.

The Patrol Jeeps will be distributed to the Northern Police District, Southern Police District, Manila Police District, Quezon City Police District and Presidential PNP Security Force Unit (PPSFU). This is to further enable NCRPO personnel in providing more efficient and effective police service to the communities and the general public as well.

“These patrol vehicles are essential in the realization of Team NCRPO’s mission to increase police presence through checkpoints and patrol duties. Rest assured that the safety of the general public is our priority.” PBGEN Danao stated.
