ARD DANAO LAUDS OPERATIVES FROM NCRPO, PRO 4A AND QCPD FOR THE ARREST OF REGIONAL LEVEL TOP 1 MOST WANTED PERSON FOR THE CRIME OF MURDER

Acting Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR lauds the concerted efforts of the National Capital Region Police Office, Provincial Regional Office 4-A and Quezon City Police District- Crime Investigation Section (CIS) that led to the arrest of a former NBI agent, tagged as the Regional Level Top 1 Most Wanted Person at about 5:00 in the afternoon of December 9, 2020 along Chestnut Drive, Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Quezon City.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, PBGEN Danilo P Macerin identified the accused as Saul Hermano, 56 y/o, a former NBI Special Investigator Agent 3 who went AWOL last 2009, native of Gamay, Northern Samar and a resident of Brgy. San Roque, Marikina City.

Investigation disclosed that an informant reported the whereabouts of Hermano, thus, casing and surveillance was conducted against him. Upon confirmation, he was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder (2 counts) issued by Hon. Leandro C. Catalo, Acting Presiding Judge of Branch 256, Regional Trial Court (RTC), Muntinlupa City docketed under Criminal Case No. 10-184 & 185 with no bail recommended.

Consquently, the court of origin will be notified on the arrest of the Wanted Person.

PBGEN DANAO complimented the coordination among operating units and further acknowledged the role of the community in crime solution and prevention. “While our law enforcers are doing their best to arrest these criminals, we still need the active support of the vigilant public in providing us with valuable information on the whereabouts of these most wanted persons to finally put them behind bars.
