54 Barangay Peacekeepers, Graduated from P.R.O.T.E.C.T in San Juan

The National Capital Region Police Chief PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR lauds the successful conduct of P.R.O.T.E.C.T or Patrolling and Response Operations Training among 54 Civilian Volunteer Organization Members from 9 barangays in San Juan City this 26th day of June, 2021 held at San Juan Gym, Barangay Rivera, San Juan City.

The event was presided to by PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR as represented by the District Director of EPD, PBGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY together with San Juan City Vice Mayor Hon Jose Warren Villa, Atty Bel Zamora and other distinguished guests.

P.R.O.T.E.C.T aims to strengthen the capability of NCRPO’s force multipliers to respond to untoward incidents in their respective areas of responsibility. Moreover, it is geared to promote knowledgeable enforcement of environmental and public health related ordinances amid the sudden surge of the COVID 19 Pandemic.

“Napakahalaga po ng papel na ginagampanan ng ating mga barangay tanod sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at katahimikan sa ating barangay at nasasakupan. Dahil dito, layon ng NCRPO na paigtingin ang kanilang kaalaman hinggil sa mga tamang paraan at estratehiya sa larangan ng patrolya at pag responde sa mga insidente sa kani-kanilang barangay. Inaasahan ko po na sa pamamagitan ng training na ito ay mas mapagbubuti ng ating mga tanod ang kanilang pagseserbisyo sa ating pamayanan.” Wika ni PMGEN DANAO JR.

Following the closing of the activity, a barangayanihan was conducted were foodpacks and health kits were distributed to the PROTECT participants and to the 15O youth leaders who have just taken their oath and signing of manifesto of support.

The activity was a total success with the supervision of PCOL ELPIDIO RAMIREZ, Chief of Police, San Juan CPS with the assistance of PMAJ ERIC CISTER, Chief, DCADD, EPD and his staff. ###
