3 Suspects Arrested for Robbery Extortion, Carnapping and Violation of Art 304 of RPC in Muntinlupa City
NCRPO- PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr., commended the elements of the Anti-Carnapping and Intelligence Unit of Paranaque City Police Station under the supervision of PCOL MAXIMO SEBASTIAN, JR, Chief of Police for the success of their follow-up operation that resulted in the arrest of 3 suspects and recovery of one (1) unit of Nissan Van at about 11:40AM on May 3, 2021 in front of RMT Industrial Complex Access Road, Barangay Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.
Suspects were identified as: Marohomsar Emran y Ombaya alyas Emran, 36 years old; Caraico Ubay Jr., y Cairen alyas Nonoy,49 y/o; and Renato Mollasgo y Sibulo alyas Natoy,43y/o . They were arrested for violation of RA10883 (Anti-carnapping Act of 2016). Emran was also arrested for Robbery Extortion while Ubas was also arrested for violation of Art. 304 of the Revised Penal Code (Possession of pick-locks or similar tools). Meanwhile, continuous operations are being conducted to arrest the fourth suspect identified as Taronngay y Acmad alyas Pilot a resident of Paliparan, Cavite.
Initial investigation disclosed that the subject motor vehicle, with plate number AO 5737 owned by Teoderico R. Larosa, was stolen while parked unattended at about 5:00AM on May 2,2021 near the footbridge Along Roxas Blvd, Barangay Baclaran, Paranaque with Radio Voice Alarm. Further, the suspect Marohamsar Emran demanded PhP 70,000 from the complainant in exchange for the return of the said vehicle. The ensuing operation conducted by the Intelligence unit resulted in the arrest of Emran who in turned disclosed the location of the vehicle and identity of his cohorts.
