The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PBGEN Jonnel C Estomo lauds the unwavering effort and dedication of Pasig City Police Station- Drug Enforcement Unit resulting in the apprehension of three high-value individuals in a drug bust operation conducted at about 5:05 PM of August 27, 2022 at 683 R. Castillo Street, Brgy Kalawaan, Pasig City.

 

According to the reports, the suspects were identified as Mohaimen Rangaig y Pontino aka “Mohaimen”, 26 years old, tagged as Regional HVI, ranked no. 5; Matet Makebel y Alba, 33 years old, a High Value Individual; and

Isabel Tobosa, 26 years old, also tagged as a High Value Individual.

 

An estimated weight of more or less 800 grams of suspected shabu with standard drug price of Php 5,440,000.00 was confiscated from the suspects.

 

Arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to station for filing of appropriate charges and subsequently referred to NHQ-Forensic Unit, Camp Crame, Quezon City, for drug test and laboratory examination of drug evidence.

 

PBGEN Estomo acknowledges the effort of operatives under the leadership of EPD Acting District Director, PCOL Wilson C Asueta and Pasig CPS, Officer-in-Charge, PCOL Celerino M Sacro Jr on their quest for orderly City which falls on the second letter of MKK=K program of C, PNP, PGEN Rodolfo S Azurin Jr. The letter “k” stands for “Kaayusan” which aspires to strictly implement the rule of law, without fear or favor.

 

“Sa ating inilunsad na S.A.F.E NCRPO, higit na makikita, maririnig, at mararamdaman ng ating mga kababayan ang  mga pinaigting at pinalakas na mga operasyon ng kapulisan upang mapanatili ang katahimikan at kayusan sa ating rehiyon. Magpapatuloy ang pagtugis namin sa mga sources, nagtutulak, nagbebenta at iba pang may kinalaman sa iligal na droga upang hindi na sila makapang biktima pa ng iba,” he said.
