NCRPO – PBGEN Jonnel C Estomo recognized the effort and dedication Southern Police District for their anti-illegal drug efforts that resulted in the successful conduct of two buy-bust operations on August 25 – 26, 2022, and confiscation of more or less Php 570,000.00 worth of shabu.

Based on the report that reached the Regional Headquarters, at about 11:50 PM of August 25, along 8th St., Brgy. Katuparan, Taguig City, Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Taguig CPS conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of the suspect who was identified as John Mark Orellana y Hernandez, male, 36 years old.

Seized from the suspect’s possession and control are MOL 18.1 grams of shabu with Standard Drug Price amounting to Php 123,080.00.

Meanwhile, at about 3:50 AM of August 26, at Alley of Road 18, Maguindanao St., Brgy. New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, SDEU, Taguig CPS conducted another buy-bust operation and arrested the suspect who was identified as Norodin Lillan y Abas, male, 39 years old.

Recovered are MOL 67 grams of shabu with DDB value of Php 455,600.00.

The confiscated illegal drugs was turned-over to SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis while the arrested suspects were brought to SDEU Office for proper documentation and pending filing complaint for violation of RA 9165.
