*Php4M worth of Suspected Shabu Seized; 7 Drug Suspects – Nabbed in Successive Metro-Wide Buy-bust Ops*

NCRPO Top Cop Chief PMGEN FELIPE R NATIVIDAD elatedly confirmed the confiscation of almost 4M worth of suspected shabu in various areas of Metro Manila which marks another significant gain in NCRPO’s conduct of anti-illegal drug operations through the unwavering effort and commitment of its Police Districts mainly the Quezon City Police District, Southern City Police District, and Northern Police District respectively.

According to the initial report, elements of PS6, QCPD SDEU operatives led by PCPT ANGELO L SIBUNGA, conducted a buy bust operation at no. 10 Masbate Street, Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City on July 29, 2022 at around 6:00 PM which resulted to the arrest of Rodjunior Salvador y Isidro alias “Charlie”, Arjie Lacanlale y Antonio, and Jerson Alcaraz y Concha. Seized from them was more or less 20gms of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of Php 136,000.00 among others.

On the same date at around 10:30 PM, elements of DDEU-SPD led by PMAJ CECILIO G TOMAS, under the supervision of PLTCOL LORENZO B. TRAJANO JR., DID/D2 together with personnel of DID, Sub Station 2 Parañaque City Police Station and SPD-DMFB conducted a buy bust operation at Puyat Compound Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City which resulted to the confiscation of more or less 505 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated drug price value of P3,434,000.00 and to the arrest of three drug personalities namely Eduardo Arciaga Ocampo, male, 47 years old, single, unemployed, Mike Chavenia, male, 24years old, single, parking boy, and Almer Aguiliña Gula, male, 33 years old, single, unemployed.

Meanwhile in Northern Police District, elements of Navotas City Police Station led by PLT LUIS C RUFO JR launched another drug bust operation at about 12:05 AM, July 30, 2022 at Badeo5. Brgy. San Roque, Navotas City.

This resulted to the arrest of two drug personalities identified as ANTONIO MENDOZA y FRANCISCO), 24 years old, and Ricardo Constantino Jr y Callueng 42 years old. Recovered from them was 50.6 grams of suspected shabu with a corresponding standard drug price of Php 344,080.00.

“I am elated that our police districts are further strengthening our anti-illegal drug effort geared to stall if not totally eradicate the presence of illegal drug activities in Metro Manila as part of our goal of promoting peace and order in the community. We cannot deny the fact that various crimes committed in our locality is attributable to drug abuse and addiction. Hence, we guarantee the public that we will not rest in our laurels and that we will continue to push forward until the last illegal drug personality is nabbed and put behind bars.” Said PMGEN Natividad.

The seized drug items with a total weight of approximately 575.6 grams and a total standard drug price of about Php 3, 914, 080 were submitted to the forensic laboratory for confirmatory testing while the suspects were taken under police custody pending the filing of complaints for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
