NCRPO – Seven drug personalities including a Child in Conflict with the Law will face charges for violating RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 after they were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on July 13, 2022 while a total of more or less Php340,000.00 worth of illegal drugs was confiscated.

In a report to PMGEN Felipe R Natividad, Regional Director NCRPO, elements of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of PS-5 QCPD conducted buy-bust operation at about 2:00AM along Viceroy Street, Brgy. Greater, Fairview, Quezon City which resulted in the arrest of three suspects which includes a 17 y/o minor.

Two other suspects were identified as Rommel Manuel y Castro, alyas Rommel, 20 y/o, a resident of 1026 River Side Ext Unit 4, Brgy, Commonwealth Quezon City and Jolina Minguin y Billo, 22 y/o and a resident of St. Andrew Brgy Holy Spirit, Q.C.

Seized from the suspects are two bricks of dried leaves, suspected to be Marijuana with more or less 2,000 grams with DDB value of Php240,000.00; one-unit cellular phone, one genuine thousand-peso bill used as buy-bust money, nine pcs one thousand boodle money and four pieces one hundred pesos recovered drug money.

Further, at about 1:00AM operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) Valenzuela City Police Station in coordination with PDEA conducted buy-bust operation along Area 4, Dumpsite, Pinalagad, Brgy Malinta Valenzuela City that resulted in the arrest of four suspects.

Arrested suspects were identified as Angelica Amosona y MNU alyas Angie,29 y/o, jobless, ; John John Balila y Bora, construction worker, 22 y/o; Joven Malasta y MNU, 30 y/o, jobless, and Emmanuel Ibanez y Patrimono, 20 y/o, construction worker.

Confiscated suspected illegal drugs has an estimated weight of more or less 15 grams with SDP of Php 102,000.00; five pcs of one hundred peso bill used as buy-bust money and four pcs one hundred peso bill (recovered money).

Meanwhile, arrested suspects are under custody of operating units for proper disposition while confiscated suspected illegal drugs were brought to respective Forensic Units for Laboratory examination.
