NCRPO SERVES 8 MORE WARRANTS OF ARRESTS VS ARRESTED LEADER OF DUMAG CARNAPPING GROUP

National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr, commended the elements of RSOG-RID NCRPO under the supervision of PLTCOL MELVIN R MONTANTE, together with the personnel of Amadeo Municipal Police Station, Cavite Provincial Police Office for the service of 8 more Warrants of Arrest against the Leader of Dumag Carnapping Group on April 29, 2021 at about 10:00AM inside the custodial facility of RSOG Cmpd., Camp Bagong Diwa Bicutan, Taguig City.

Investigation reports disclosed that the arrested accused is also tagged as NCRPO’s Regional Level Most Wanted Person for the 2nd Quarter CY 2021. She was identified as May Barcelona y Vierte alyas Bing, 47 years old,single, businesswoman and a resident of Peanut St., Somerset 5,Lancaster Subdivision, Brgy. Navarro,General Trias City, Cavite.

The following Warrants of Arrest served by the authorities against the above mentioned accused are 3 counts for violation of RA10883 ( New Anti-Carnapping Law 2016 issued in Mandaluyong City on September 17, 2019 with a recommended bail of PHP200,000.00.;

WOA issued on May 17, 2019 in Carmona, Cavite with the same amount of bail recommended and WOA issued by a court in Quezon City on February 28, 2018 with PHP300,000.00 bail recommended.

Moreover, other WOA served are four counts of Estafa, two of which was issued on January 26, 2017 by Regional Court in Pasay City and Municipal Trial Court, Pasay City on June 4, 2018. Two other WOA was issued by RTC, Malolos City, Bulacan on March 23, 2018 and the other was issued by RTC, San Pedro Laguna, all warrants were with a recommended bail of PHP40,000.00. The other WOA was for violation of BP 22 (Bouncing Checks Law) issued at the MTC, Baliwag Bulacan on October 25, 2018 with a recommended bail of PHP3,000.00.

Furthermore, Barcelona, was earlier arrested on April 21, 2021 in General Trias City, Cavite for two warrants of arrest for violation of RA 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Law of 2016) issued by a court in Quezon City and in Muntinlupa City, respectively.

Accused is currently under the custody of RSOG Custodial Facility pending the issuance of commitment order.

NCRPO : PhP 5.88 MILLION MARIJUANA RECOVERED IN A JOINT BUY-BUST, TWO ARRESTED

NCRPO Chief PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR. announced that Police Station 10 – Kamuning Station Drug Enforcement Unit, Quezon City Police District under PBGEN ANTONIO C YARRA, together with PROCOR – Regional Drug Enforcement Unit lead the successful joint buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of two (2) drug suspects along Sitio Wanti, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga at around 6:20 PM on April 29, 2021.

Based on the report submitted by the Station Commander, the arrested suspects were identified as:

a.) Carlos Bocad Banosan, 27 years old; and

b.) Mylene Sulay Bullay aka Angel, 25 years old.

Seized from the suspect’s possession and control are the following pieces of evidence:

a.) Forty five (45) bricks wrapped in transparent plastic containing suspected marijuana leaves;
b.) Eight (8) stalk wrapped in transparent plastic containing suspected marijuana leaves; and
c.) Buy-bust money amounting to Five Hundred Thousand pesos consisting of five (5) pc genuine one thousand pesos incorporated with four hundred ninty five (495) pieces one thousand boodle money.

The confiscated suspected marijuana has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 49kg with DDB value amounting to PHP5.88 Million.

The arrested suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were brought to PROCOR Regional Drug Enforcement Unit Office for proper disposition and documentation.

“Ang pagkakaaresto at pagkumpiska sa malaking halaga ng hinihinalang marijuana ay labis na makakatulong sa ating kampanya kontra iligal na droga hindi lamang sa Kamaynilaan kundi pati na din sa nasabing lugar ng buy-bust at sa mga kalapit na bayan nito.” PMGEN DANAO said.

He added “Kung isa man sila sa mga supplier ng marijuana dito sa Kamaynilaan, malaki itong kabawasan upang hindi na lumaganap pa ang pagbebenta at paggamit nito.”###

3.4 MILLION WORTH OF SHABU BUSTED IN MANDALUYONG CITY

NCRPO Regional Director PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR lauds the seizure of suspected shabu amounting to 3.4 Million during a drug bust in Mandaluyong City.

According to the reports, operatives of Mandaluyong City Police Station under the supervision of PCOL GAUVIN MEL Y UNOS, Chief of Police successfully arrested a drug suspect at about 7:00 PM of April 28, 2021 along Boni Avenue Brgy. Malamig Mandaluyong City.

The suspects was identified as Saddam G Masukat @ Saddam, 29 years old, single, Construction Worker, resident of Maharlika, Taguig City and newly identified as High Value Individual.

Records show that operatives of SDEU Mandaluyong City Police Station in coordination with PDEA No. 10001-042021-0541 conducted Buy bust Operation wherein a police acted as a poseur buyer. Upon consummation of the drug deal, operatives introduced themselves and arrested the suspect.

Seized from his possession and control were;  ten (10) pcs heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu , Two (2) pcs one thousand peso bill with three (3) bundles of one thousand peso boodle money amounting to Php. 300,000,00 used as buy-bust money, One (1) pc plastic bag, One (1) pc blue and white package, one (1) pc paper bag and one (1) pc paper bag.

All the confiscated drugs weighs approximately 500 grams with DDB standard value of Php. 3,400,000,00.

The physical inventory of recovered evidence was conducted at the place of arrest witnessed by Brgy. Kagawad Roger Molina of Brgy. Malamig and Media representative Gary De Leon of TV5 and Kurk Salazar of ABSCBN.

Suspect is now under the custody of Mandaluyong Police Station for proper documentation and a case for violation of Section 5 of Art II, RA 9165 is being prepared against him.

PMGEN DANAO aside from congratulating the operatives for a job well done, he is also calling on the general public to help and cooperate with the authorities by reporting and or providing with information that could lead to the apprehension of other illegal drug suspects in the region.

NCRPO INVIGORATES EFFORT TO END INSURGENCY

NCRPO under the helm of its current Chief, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR made serious effort to support EO 70 geared to end more than five decades of insurgency’s punic circuition in the country.

From March 16, 2020 to April 15, 2020, NCRPO launched several initiatives in the 12 clusters of lines of Effort of ELCAC.

Among the initiatives undertaken to achieve an efficient and effective implementation of the whole-of-nation approach against insurgency were Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Empowerment wherein a total of 13, 245 Rektang Bayanihan through “Kapwa ko, Sagot ko” project was launched and a total of 656 Urban Gardening Training for Trainers was conducted with Tesda; Legal Cooperation wherein 9 members of Communist Terrorist Groups were arrested; Situation Awareness and Knowledge Management wherein 314, 457 were distributed and 2,793 lectures were conducted in addition to 12,402 press releases issued; and Sectoral Unification, Capacity Building, Empowerment and Mobilization wherein  a total of around 68, 250 visitations were conducted to boost Sectoral Capacity Building and Empowerment by conducting a total of 9,007 dialogues were initiated to invigorate the Barangay Capacity Building and Mobilization.

These efforts resulted to significant gains in NCRPO’s fight against insurgency and terrorism in the white area.

Ang programang ito ay kaugnay ng ating Programang SIBOL o Simula ng Isang Bagong Oportunidad sa Lipunan na naglalayon na bigyan ng bagong pag-asa ang mga kababayang higit na nangangailangan sa buhay at labis na naapektuhan ng pandemya. Ang nasabing Career Counseling and Coaching Seminar ay kung saan sa tulong ng mga eksperto, ay bibigyan ng ideya o gabay ang ating mga kababayan kung anong trabaho ang umaayon sa kanilang interes na naaangkop ngayong panahon ng pandemya. DANAO : TWO CHINESE NATIONALS NABBED FOR ALLEGED KIDNAP FOR RANSOM

 

The National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr lauds the successful arrest of two (2) Chinese Nationals and One (1) Filipino Citizen for Alleged Kidnapping for Ransom committed against one ZHOU WEN HUA, 30 years old, Single, IT Technician, Chinese National and a resident of  Golden Bay Tower Pasay City and witnessed by CHIN LI LI, 25 years old, female, Malaysia National and a resident of Roxas Boulevard, Malate, Manila.

According to the initial report, at about 12:00 AM, April 27, 2021, CHIN LI LI, Chinese National together with his co-worker JOHN PETER ADAYO came to RSOG Office to request for police assistance concerning three (3) unidentified persons who allegedly detained their friend ZHOU WEN HUA inside a vehicle  against his will along Aseana Drive, Paraňaque City. This report prompted the elements of TDPO, RSOG-RID (lead), RDEU-NCR, Pasay CPS, and Parañaque CPS led by PMAJ ELVIN JOHN M TIO under the direct supervision of PLTCOL MELVIN R MONTANTE Chief, RSOG to plot an operation against the suspects at around 3:45 am of April 27, 2021.

Upon arrival at the scene, one of the unidentified male persons alighted from the vehicle holding a gun of unknown caliber and subsequently fired shots towards the responding police officers but missed. Consequently, the operatives retaliated hitting the suspect’s left arm and thereafter, arrested the  suspects who were identified to be the following persons:

S1. YVES IAN PANGANIBAN y OXALES, 28 years old, male, with-live-partner, driver and resident of No. A Pag Araullo Street, Bacood , Sta. Mesa, Manil;

S2. ZHAO, XIN, 24, male, Supervisor PITX of POGO 4 Sea Ocean Group, Chinese national and resident of  Burgundy Condominium, Pasay City; and

S3. GAN SIGUO, 24 years, employee of POGO located at Tower 1 PITX and resident of Burgundy Condominium, Pasay City.

Recovered from the suspects were the following pieces of evidence:

  1. 1 Pietro Beretta Gardone V.T. Made in Italy with PNP Markings and Serial Numbers N51067Z;
  2. 1 pc Magazine of Pietro Beretta;
  3. 12 pcs Live 9mm Ammunition;
  4. 1 Butterfly Knife (Balisong) approximately 10 inches long;
  5. 1 Toyota Fortuner (White) with Plate Number CAL 5545;
  6. 1 pc Sling Bag (Brown); and
  7. Cash money amounting to Php 920,000.00.

The suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Regional Special Operations Group office for documentation, investigation and proper disposition while the injured suspect was brought to Pasay General Hospital for immediate medical intervention.

The trust and confidence of the reporting witness in their police was key in the successful rescue of the victims and the arrest of the alleged perpetrators. BLESSING OF HINO TRUCK WORTH 1.850 MILLION FOR NCRPO MOBILITY

 

 

As another enhancement to the aspect of mobility, today, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR spearheaded the Blessing of Newly procured Hino Truck conducted in front of the Regional Headquarters, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

NCRPO continuously strive to arm their men with the necessary equipment to maximize their capabilities and abilities for the betterment of law enforcement service. The Regional Director himself initiated the procurement of the said truck. It is expected to result in a swift response to any untoward incidents especially that its size is capable of entering small barangays in Metro Manila.

This is over and above the 55 ADV Honda Motorcycle that was bought and distributed in the different districts of NCRPO to intensify anti-criminality campaign.

With all the additional necessary equipment turned-over to the different units in NCRPO during the past months, PMGEN DANAO also reminded the conduct of trainings for maximum utilization. He further emphasized that disaster preparedness should be prioritized using SAR Equipment procured in January 2021.

TOP 7 MOST WANTED PERSON OF LAS PIÑAS POLICE STATION, ARRESTED

 

In line with the intensified campaign against most wanted persons, the National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR. lauds Police Station – 4 Las Piñas, Southern Police District for the successful apprehension of the Station’s Top 7 Most Wanted Person for 2nd Quarter of 2021.

Accused was arrested at 4:30 PM ,April 28, 2021 along Las Piñas City Hall Compound, Pamplona 3, Las Piñas City by personnel of Warrant and Subpoena Section,Las Pinas CPS together with the operatives of Station Intelligence Section.

The arrested accused was a male and a resident of Las Pinas City  . He has a pending warrant of arrest for the Crime of RAPE docketed under Criminal Case No. 002-2021-D issued by Hon. Judge MILDRED JACINTO-MARQUEZ of Family Court Branch 2, Las Piñas City, dated February 22, 2021 with bail recommended of PHP 200,000.00.

The arrested accused was apprised of his constitutional during the arrest and currently under custody of Warrant and Subpoena Section of Police Station – 4 Las Piñas before returning to the court of origin.

QCPD Nabs Batasan Police Top 2 Most Wanted Person

The National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr lauds the successful arrest of QCPD-PS6 Batasan Police Station’s Top 2 Most Wanted Person for 2 counts of Sexual Assault at about 7:30 PM of April 26,2021 along 27 Senatorial Road Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

The accused was identified as EPIFANIO CASAS Jr. y ANDALES. He was wanted by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Hon. LILY ANN MARCOS PADAEN Presiding Judge, Family Court Branch 13, Quezon City docketed under Case No.20-09938-20-09939 with Php.180,000.00 bail recommended for each count of Sexual Assault.

“I commend the unwavering effort of our men who successfully worked out the identification, location and arrest of this top wanted person for 2counts of Sexual Assault. Apart from arresting criminal offenders and other lawless elements, we have also committed ourselves to intensify our campaign against wanted persons to ensure that justice is duly served.” Said PMGEN DANAO JR.###

REGIONAL TOP 3 AND TOP 8 PRIORITY IN DRUG WATCHLIST, BUSTED IN QC

The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR. commends PS – 3 Talipapa, Station Drug Enforcement Unit, Quezon City Police District in coordination with PDEA NCR for a successful buy-bust operation which resulted in the apprehension of two (2) persons who are considered as Regional Top 3 and Top 8 Priority Drugs Watch List along Sinagtala St., Brgy., Bahay Toro, Quezon City at around 10:45 PM on April 26, 2021. The arrest was plotted from the information supplied by PDEA NCR about the illegal drug activities of the suspect in the above-mentioned location. The operatives immediately arranged a buy-bust operation, hence, resulted in the arrest. Based on the report submitted, the arrested suspects were identified as: a) DARWIN DIAZ y OLINO (REGIONAL TOP 3 Priority DRUGS WATCHLIST), 27 years old, male; and b) BERNA QUIÑONES y REYES (REGIONAL TOP 8 Priority DRUGS WATCHLIST), 32 years old, female. Seized from the suspects possession and control are the following pieces of evidence: a) Twelve (12) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing undetermined quantity of white crystalline substance suspected as shabu; b) One (1) coin purse; c) Two (2) pieces 200 peso bills utilized as buy-bust money; and d) One (1) cellular phone. The confiscated illegal drugs has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 10 grams with DDB value amounting to PHP 68,000.00. It was turned over to the PNP Crime laboratory for confirmatory testing. While the arrested suspects were brought to PS – 3 SDEU Office for proper disposition and documentation pending filing of charges for violation of Sec. 5 and 11 Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Acts of 2002). “Malaking bagay ang pagkakahuli sa dalawang drug suspek na ito na itinuturing na Regional Priority sa drugs watchlist. Ang mga impormasyong makukuha sa kanila ay makatutulong upang mahuli pa ang ibang mga taong sagkot sa iligal na droga. Mas mapapadali nito ang pagtunton sa iba pa nilang mga kasamahan at pati na rin ang taong pinagkukunan nila ng droga.” PMGEN DANAO said.###
