CONSECUTIVE ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUG BUST, LAUNCHED BY SOUTHERN POLICE DISTRICT

The National Capital Region Police Chief PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR applauded the intensified effort of the Southern Police District in its fight against illegal drugs which resulted to the arrest of several drug personalities and recovery of more than Php 1.5 Million worth of suspected illegal drugs.

According to the report submitted by the Southern Police District under the leadership of PBGEN ELISEO DC CRUZ, District Director , a joint buy bust operation was conducted by SDEU and Station Intelligence operatives led by PLT ANGELO O MENDOZA ( OIC SDEU) under the direct supervision of PCOL HAROLD P DEPOSITAR (Acting Chief of Police, Makati CPS) at about 7:30 PM, February 27, 2021 along C5 Service Road Phase 2 Brgy. Pinagsama, Taguig City.

The operation resulted in the arrest of following suspects:1.) Jose Hernando Llaguno y Calpito @Giboy , 20 y/o, male, single, jobless and resident of No.03 Capistrano St. Brgy. Hagonoy, Taguig City (with standing warrants) and 2.) Enzo Dwight Javier y Borja @Dwight, 18 y/o, male, single, jobless and resident of No.59 P Mariano Brgy. Ususan Taguig City ,after one of the operative who posted as poseur buyer was able to purchase one (1) pc knot tied transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu worth Php 270,000.00.

Recovered from the suspects possession were the following pcs of evidence to wit:-two (2) pieces paper bag color white- two hundred sixty eight (268) pieces one thousand peso bill (Boodle Money) Buy bust money- two (2) pieces Php1,000.00 Genuine (Buy Bust money) with the estimated weight of confiscated white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (170 grams) with Standard Drug Price (SDP) Php 1,156,000.00.

Also about 1:30AM of Feb. 27, 2021, operatives of Taguig City Police Station Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy bust operation at #079-A Cagayan De Oro St., Brgy. Maharlika, Taguig City in close coordination with PDEA which resulted to the arrest of Ebrahim Ondia y Saliao @ Ebrahim and confiscation of the following pieces of evidence from him thus: a. 5 pcs. heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing Shabu;b. 1 pc. coin purse color Pink; and c. 2 pcs. Php100 bill as Buy Bust money including 3 pcs. Php1000 bills as Boodle money.

The seized suspected Shabu weighs more or less 22.5 grams with a Standard Drug Price of Php153,000.

In another buy bust operation at around 11:30 AM of Feb. 27, 2021 at No. 8L Caramay St.Brgy Katuparan,Tagiug City, resulted to the arrest of four (4) drug suspects namely:

1.Fatima Guinto 21 y/o;

2. Michelle Dela Cruz y Guinto 30 y/o;

3. Fernando Curioso y Benacoda 25 y/o; and

4. Felix Guinto y Villarosa 30 y/o.

Recovered from the suspects were the following pieces of evidence to wit:

a. 6 pcs transparent plastic sachets containing Shabu;

b. 1 pc weighing scale;

c. Drug paraphernalias;

d. 24 pcs. Php1000 bill (Boodle money); and

e. 1 pc of Php 1,000 bill (Genuine money).

The seized suspected Shabu weighs more or less 32 grams with a standard drug price of more or less Php 217,600.

And also, on Feb. 26, 2021 a buy bust operation was conducted at about 8:38 PM of along Catleya St., Brgy. Rizal, Makati City.

Suspect was identified as Michael Tumaliuan y Evangelista alias “Imaw”. Recovered from him were the following pieces of evidence :

a. 4 pcs. heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing Shabu;

b. 1 pc. coin pouch color Black; and

c. 1 pc. Php 500 bill (Buy Bust Money).

The recovered pieces of drug evidence has an estimated weight of more or less 20 grams with a standard drug price of Php136,000.

All the arrested suspects were taken under custody and will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 Sections 5 and 11.

The pieces of evidence recovered during the operations were duly marked and inventoried at the place of apprehension in the presence of the accused and mandatory witnesses before they were submitted for analysis in the Crime Laboratory.

This successful series of anti-illegal drug operations once again reflected our commitment to free the Metro from the proliferation of illegal drugs. NCRPO TRAINS FOR BODY WORN CAMERA OPERATION, DEMONSTRATION, MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT

Another technological innovation to improve police operational capabilty, a Training for the Operation, Demonstration, Maintenance and Management of the PNP Body-Worn Camera System transpired today, February 26, 2021 at Hinirang Hall, Camp BAgong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

The men and women of NCRPO warmly welcomed the The Director for Logistics, PMGEN ANGELITO A CASIMIRO headed by the Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PBGEN ANTONIO C ACORDA JR.

Also present during the event were: PBGEN MARIO REYES, Logistics Support Service; PBGEN ABELARDO MATILLANO, Director, Engineering Service ; and PCOL BENJAMIN SANTOS JR, Directorate for Operations, PNP Command Center.

The training conducted by EVI Distribution Inc. is a great milestone for the organization’s crime prevention method when it comes to transparency and accountability. Participants were trained on how to record video, audio, how to make photo, live streaming, play back and basic maintenance.

Meanwhile they were also trained on how to charge body worn cameras, save and check files on docking station.

The newly procured body worn cameras can be considered as one of the vital reforms and leaps in the PNP particularly in the aspect of operations and logistics services. NCRPO as the pioneer of this advancement will be alloted a total 648 out of 2,696 cameras and a total of 70 docking stations out of its 198 total number.

Similarly, these equipment are expected to improve evidence collection, preservation, at the same time, the legitimacy of police-citizen encounters.

PMGEN CASIMIRO during in his message reminded the beneficiaries to maintain the items with utmost care and diligence in order to preseve its service life. “I enjoin all the participants to actively participate in this training and apply all your learnings for effective and efficient usage of our body-worn cameras during all your operations and encounters,”

As he conclude the program, PBGEN ANTONIO C YARRA emphasized the importance of operational preparedness as an indispensable key to the success of every police operation. “There is no harm in hoping for the best as long as you’re prepared for the worst,” he ended.###

RMFB- NCRPO CONDUCTED TRAINING AS PART OF STRENGTHENING DISASTER PREPAREDNESS CAPABILITIES

Following the turn over of different search and rescue equipment to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion of NCRPO, the last standing force of the region conducted a training on how to utilized the said procured equipment on February 26, 2021 at Manila Bay, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.

After receiving necessary equipment from the Regional Director, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR, 21 students and 8 instructors from RMFB initiated a training not only to familiarize themselves but to further test the Rubber Inflated Boat’s reliability and durability.

The Boat Handling training aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of RMFB personnel on disaster operations by being ready for any eventualitIes.

According to PMGEN DANAO, his initiative to strengthen the disaster operations of the region is because of the lessons learned from the previous typhoons. 700K WORTH OF SUSPECTED DRIED MARIJUANA LEAVES BUSTED IN QC

The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR. lauds PS – 11 Galas, Quezon City Police District for a successful buy-bust operation which resulted in the arrest of two (2) drug suspects along No. 29 Diego Silang St., Brgy. Sta Lucia, Quezon City at around 10:45 PM on February 25, 2021.

The arrest ensued after a confidential informant reported about the illegal drug activities of the suspects. The operatives conducted surveillance and monitoring to confirm the veracity of the said report. Upon validation they pushed-through with the pre-arranged buy-bust hence, the arrest.

Based on the initial report submitted the arrested suspects were identified as JERICHO RIVERA y DELA and LEO BERMUDEZ y PANGILINAN JR.

Seized from the suspect’s possession are the following pieces of evidence:

a) Nine (9) pcs. big transparent plastic wrap containing dried leaves suspected to be dried marijuana leaves;

b) Plastic zip lock color gold containing dried leaves of suspected high grade marijuana leaves;

c) One (1) piece Thousand peso incorporated with 22 pcs boodle/fake one thousand peso bill pre-marked with initial CC used as buy-bust money;

d) Digital weighing scale; and

e) One (1) blue sako bag.

The confiscated dried marijuana leaves has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 6 kilograms with DDB value amounting to PHP 780,000.00 and one self-sealing plastic sachet with dried marijuana leaves weighing more or less 5 grams amounting to PHP 7,500.00.

The arrested suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were turned-over to PS – 11 Galas for proper disposition and pending filing appropriate charges to the court for violation of Sec. 5 and 11 Article II of R.A. 9165 otherwise known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.

More or Less 1M Suspected Shabu Seized in Drug Ops

The relentless anti-illegal drugs campaign of the Station Drug Enforcement Units of the Northern Police District (NPD) resulted in the seizure of more or less one million worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations.

Citing reports from the NPD, National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGEN Vicente D Danao said that operatives of Valenzuela City Police Station successfully arrested two (2) suspects and confiscated suspected shabu at about 9:00PM on February 25, 2021 along Taurus St., Brgy San Roque, Navotas City.

Suspects were identified as Katherine Leonson y Mangali alyas Kath (Drug watch listed) 31 years old, housewife and a resident of Taurus St., Brgy. San Roque Navotas City and Mark John Melejor y Leonson alyas Lukot, 28 years old, Barangay Tanod and a resident of Aries St., Brgy San Roque, Navotas City.

Confiscated pieces of evidence are: a) One (1) pc small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing substance suspected to be “shabu”; b) Three (3) pcs of medium heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing substance suspected to be “shabu”; c) Two (2) pieces knot tied ice plastic bag containing substance suspected to be “shabu”; d) One (1) pc brown paper bag; and e) Two (2) pcs of Five hundred peso bill as the buy bust money. Seized suspected shabu has an estimated weight of 147.6 grams with Dangerous Drugs Board value of PHP 1,003,680.00.

The inventory of the seized alleged illegal drugs was witness by Kagawad Winifredo Esquillo Jr and Mr. Ismael “Ka Maeng” Santos a media representative.

In another drug sting on February 25, 2021 at about 4:30PM in front of an eatery along D. Aquino St., Brgy Caloocan City, elements of the District Drug Enforcement Unit of NPD arrested a female suspect.

Suspect was identified as Tarah Anne Benbinito y Bernardo, 42 years old, jobless and a resident of Titus St., Interville 3, Novaliches Quiezon City.

Seized pieces of evidence are: two (2) pcs. Medium heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing Shabu; and 1 pc. Genuine Php500 bill incorporated with13 pcs. Php500 as Boodle money. Estimated total weight of shabu confiscated was more or less 10 grams with standard drug price amounting to Php68, 000.

Moreover, operatives of DDEU-NPD arrested another female suspect identified as Rhodora Vergara y Ollero during the conduct of buy-bust operation on February 25, 2021 at about 9:30PM beside a gas station at Maya St., corner Mindanao Avenue, Brgy Ugong Valenzuela City.

Pieces of evidence seized from the possession and control of the suspect are: two (2) medium heat sealed transparent plastic sachets; one (1) piece genuine 500 peso bill incorporated with 9 pcs 1000 peso boodle money. And more or less 15 grams of suspected shabu with DDB value of PHP 102,000.00.

Witnesses during the inventory of seized evidence were Kagawad Domingo Antonio and Mr Alex Mendoza a media representative.

During the arrest, all suspects were informed of their Constitutional Rights in a language known to them. Meanwhile, suspects are now under the custody of operating units pending the filing of charges in violation of Section 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PMGEN Danao, lauded the operating units of NPD for their noteworthy accomplishments. “We will continue to accomplish more gains not only in the war against illegal drugs but also against all forms of criminality and I appreciate the enthusiasm of our men on this venture.” He ended. ###

The National Capital Region Police Office continues its endeavor to support the government’s efforts to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC). Today, February 25, 2021, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR headed the 2021 Barangay Peace and Order Summit at Covered Court,Hito Street, Barangay Longos ,Malabon City.

A lecture on the Role of Parents in Countering CNN Youth Recruitment and Exploitation was discussed to the Barangay Chairmen other City and Barangay Officials, Barangay Ex-Os and SK Chairmen by Mr.Julius Ursua, Spokesperson, League of Parents in the Philippines following the lectures on anti criminality program, anti illegal drugs, terrorism/ELCAC and InfoC.A.R.E. on Covid 19. To include the testimony of 2 Cadres on their experiences while being a former members of the leftist group and underground movement.

Distribution of flyers while implementing minimum health standard protocols like wearing of face mask to contain the spread of the COVID-19 was also conducted.

SAN JUAN CITY BARANGAYS COMMIT TO NCRPO’s PEACE AND ORDER SUMMIT

In consonance to the marching order of the Chief PNP, PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC), RD NCRPO,  PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR, graced the 2021 Barangay Peace and Order Summit on February 24, 2021 at San Juan City.

The Team NCRPO held their Serbisyong Tama Caravan sa Barangay at Barangay Corazon De Jesus, San Juan City. This enhanced program RD DANAO  aims to educate and set awareness  to poorest of the poor  barangays in NCR about the threats of communist groups not only to the government but to lives of public.

Among the lectures discussed were Drug Awareness and Prevention Education conducted by PDEA Regional Officer NCR Mr. Paulo Victor Daculla and other related lectures delivered by the Speakers Bureau of NCRPO.

During the event, strict implementation of minimum health standard protocols like wearing of face mask to contain the spread of the coronavirus were observed to ensure safety of the 120 participants.

Simultaneously, the Barangay Peace and Order Summit to Support ELCAC was also held at Barangay Tibagan, San Juan City.

Resource speakers shared their expertise on different topics such as Peace and Order, National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict  and White Area Operation and the Cascading of Barangay Task Force ELCAC.

Alongside the lectures about ELCAC, an Oath taking and signing on the Pledge of Commitment transpired between the policemen and the Barangay Chairmen and other City and Barangay Officials of San Juan City.

NCRPO RDEU SEIZED SUSPECTED SHABU AND MARIJUANA IN TAGUIG CITY

In the continuous fight against illegal drugs in Metro Manila, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR commends the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit for the successful joint buy bust operation resulting in the arrest of two (3) male drug suspects on February 25, 2021 at about 2:20am at Dalampasigan Purok V Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.

The suspects were identified as: 1. Melalyn Tormes y Getulle @ Melai, 2. Rozelle Nagales y Tormes and 3. Vien Krystian Guanzon y Indaya.

Records show that elements of RDEU conducted a buy- bust operation wherein one operative acted as poseur buyer. Upon consummation of the transaction, the suspects were arrested and seized from their possession and control the following pieces of evidence to wit:

a. 2 transparent plastic sachets containing Shabu,

b. 1 block Brown dried leaves w/fruiting tops Marijuana covering clear plastic,

c. 1 block Brown dried leaves Marijuana inside of White JRS plastic,

d. 2 pcs. Genuine Php1000 bills as Buy bust money and

e. 178 pcs. paper as Boodle money.

Seized items suspected to be Shabu weighs mol 100 grams w/a SDP of Php680,000 and suspected Marijuana weighing 1 and half kilos having a value of Php180,000.

Subsequently, suspects will be referred to Taguig City prosecutor’s office for inquest proceedings relative to the filing of charges for violation of Art II of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PMGEN DANAO acknowledged that the reports from the public greatly help in the success of the operations in NCR.

RD DANAO’s NOTEWORTHY DAY FOR THE COMMUNITY AND POLICEMEN OF THE SOUTH

Neither the weather, the downpour of rain, the heavy sunlight nor even the virus itself can stop the diligent Regional Director of NCRPO in reaching out to the community and his personnel.

PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR led the Team NCRPO in the conduct of Sebisyong TAMA Caravan sa Barangay on February 23, 2021 at Sitio Masagana, Western Bicutan, Taguig City.

Serbisyong TAMA Caravan sa Barangay with InfoCARE aims to reach out vulnerable sectors of the community regionwide by giving them lectures on anti criminality, illegal drugs, terrorism/ELCAC , corruption , aside from the lecture on Corona virus Awareness Response and Empowerment (CARE). Police Officers distributed IEC/Flyers on ELCAC, Illegal Drugs, Covid 19; RA 9262, Health kits and food packs to all the beneficiaries of the program.

Thereafter, PMGEN DANAO visited the Southern Police District where he was accorded with an arrival honors.A short program ensued highlighted by the giving of award to deserving personnel with medals for their operational accomplishments. To further motivate the personnel of SPD,a raffle draw was conducted in courtesy of the NCRPO Regional Director .

During his visit, the NCRPO Regional Director graced the unveiling of SPD Biometrics System and Inauguration of the Newly Renovated SPD Medical Clinic.

PMGEN DANAO also took the opportunity to talk to his men and personally give them his guidance. He emphasized Oplan LITIS (Litisin, Tiwali at Iskalawag na pulis) reiterated ERA (be an exemplar, responsible and accountable) of change and warned those who will try to violate the law under his stint.

Making the most out if his visit, RD, NCRPO turned over Search and Rescue equipment as well as 10 Honda ADV Motorcycles to SPD to be used in Search and Rescue and Anti-Criminality operations. Meanwhile, PBGEN ELISEO DC CRUZ presented the 18 units EMTAN Automatic Rifle, 2 units EMTAN Sniper Rifle and 3 units of SUV Suzuki Ertiga donated by the Pasay City LGU.

Then and there, he also led the destruction of 126 Video Karera/ Fruit Game Machines seized during the conduct of operations within Southern Cities from the period of November 11, 2020 to February 18, 2021 as part of the PNP intensified Anti-criminality campaign against Illegal- Gambling and RA 10591. A total of 13 video karera and 113 fruit games were destroyed. Likewise, witnessed the launching of RD’s lifesize tarpaulin including the hotline numbers at Southern Police District Admin building.

Afterwhich, a command conference was presided by PMGEN DANAO attended by PBGEN ANTONIO C YARRA, DRDA; PBGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR, DRDO together with the NCRPO Regional Staff, SPD Command Group, District Staff, COPs of SPD MaTaPatPaMuLapa and NUPs wherein a random drug test was conducted.

TOP 10 MOST WANTED PERSON OF NAVOTAS CITY POLICE STATION COLLARED

Through the intensified Manhunt Operation conducted by the personnel of the Warrant Section of Navotas City Police Station, an accused have been long wanted by the law has been collared on February 22, 2021 at about 2:30PM along M. Naval St., Brgy. Sipac- Almacen, Navotas City.

Based on the report forwarded to the office of the Regional Director, PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr identified the arrested accused as Sander Sarmiento y Ferraras whose real name is Sander Sarmiento y Ferreras, male, 31 years old, laborer and a resident of Lot 5 Phase 2 Area 2, Brgy. North Bay Boulevard South, Navotas City.

Investigation disclosed that after validation of the information provided by a confidential informant regarding the whereabouts of the subject person, operatives conducted several weeks of intensive surveillance and intelligence operations that eventually resulted in his arrest.

Further, the accused has been long wanted by law. He was arrested by virtue of the Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Pedro T Dabu Jr., Presiding Judge of RTC Br. 286, Navotas City for the crime of Robbery.

No untoward incident happened during the implementation of the said Warrant of Arrest. Accused was also appraised of his Constitutional Rights. The said warrant of arrest was properly returned to the issuing court while the arrested person is under the custody of Navotas Police Station pending the issuance of Commitment Order by the court.
