As part of the support of National Capital Region Police Office to the government’s goal to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC), Regional Director, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR. spearheaded the 2021 Barangay Peace and Order on February 17, 2020 at Valenzuela City Auditorium, CJ Santos, Malinta, Valenzuela City.
To contain the spread of COVID-19 during the said event, minimum health standard protocol was observed like wearing of face mask, face shield and physical distancing.
The activity was participated and attended by PBGEN NELSON B BONDOC, DD, NPD; PCOL LYNDON A MENCIO, DDDA,NPD; PCOL MILO PAGTALUNAN, DDDO, NPD; PCOL MARCELO B DAYAG; PCOL FERNANDO R ORTEGA, Chief of Police, Valenzuela CPS, PLTCOL NOEL D RAMIREZ, ACOPA, VPCS; PLTCOL FREDDIE T COLICO,DCADD, NPD; PMAJ GINA DR PARINAS, Chief, SCADD; PMAJ JESUS MANSIBANG, Sub-Station Commander; PCOL JULIUS C SURIBEN, Chief, RCADD; PLTCOL JENNY DC TECSON, Chief, RPIO and PMAJ ROSEMARIE DICHE.
Likewise, Hon. Lorie Natividad-Borja City Vice Mayor, Valenzuela City; Hon. Bienvenido Bartolome Jr., Life Barangay President; Hon. Exequiel De Joya Serrano, So Federation President, Valenzuela City; Dr. Arnaldo Antonio, Valenzuela City, VCDRRMO; MAJ EDWIN CARINO, PAF, Commander AFP-PNP Task Unit Valenzuela; Ms. Mary Jane Nacario, Valenzuela, DILG; Barangay Chairman of the 33 barangays, 33 (POC) Barangay Kagawads, 33 Barangay SK Chairmen, JTF Personnel and Bantay Bayan were present and took part on the Ceremonial Signing of the Pledge of Commitment that signal their will and support to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) in the City with the PNP.
Other lined up activities includes the lecture on INFO C.A.R.E, Peace and Order, National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict and White Area Operation and the Cascading of Barangay Task Force ELCAC by selected resource speakers who shared their expertise.
During his speech PMGEN DANAO extended his warm appreciation to Valenzuela City Local Government for their responsiveness to the said event. He highlighted the importance of sustainable peace and order in the city.
He also urged the participants to support the campaign to end criminality, illegal drugs and terrorism.
