1,834 NCRPO POLICEMEN PROMOTED

“Together, let us all help our Police Regional Office to sustain the trust and confidence of the public and be the ERA – an Example, be Responsible and Accountable with all the actuations and with all the responsibilities that we are obliged to do. National Capital Region Police Office Chief, PBGEN Vicente D Danao Jr., stated during the Simultaneous Mass Oath Taking, Donning and Pinning of Ranks  Program on Jan 15, 2021 at the NCRPO Grandstand, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

A total of one thousand eight hundred and thirty four (1,834) strong and abled Police Corporal to Police Lieutenant Colonel successfully passed the meticulous and rigid screening and deliberation of the National Headquarters Promotion Board, NCRPO Police Commissioned Officer Promotion Committee and NCRPO Promotion Boards Alpha and Bravo for CY 2020 2nd Level Regular Promotion Program.

Twenty eight (28) police officers were promoted to  the rank of Police Lieutenant Colonel, one hundred forty one (141) Police Major, twenty (20) Police Captain, twenty four (24) Police Lieutenant, eighty six (86) Police Executive Master Sergeants, ninety six (96) Police Chief Master Sergeant, two hundred forty nine (249) Police Senior Master Sergeant, two hundred eighty three (283) Police Master Sergeant, three hundred eighty seven (387) Police Staff Sergeant and five hundred twenty (520) were promoted to the rank of Police Corporal.

PBGEN Danao congratulated the newly promoted police officers. He also warned them to step out of the organization if they do not toe the line. “Sana naman maala-ala ninyo na in every rank that we earn, entails greater responsibility. Sana huwag nating abusuhin. Let us together achieve our primary mission which is to serve and protect the community. Let us reciprocate the efforts of our President in upgrading, upholding the sanctity, increasing the salary and morale of the PNP. He added.

He further encouraged the promotees to live within their means, be contented with what they have, and learn how to manage their time and resources. “Sa ating mga kasama dapat nating mahalin  ang ating serbisyo.  Sana lagi nating isa-isip at isa-puso iyong tinatawag nating serbisyong tama. And when you say serbisyong tama, ito ay isang pulis na tapat, may tapang at malasakit sa ating mamamayan.” PBGEN Danao ended. ###
