Suspect For Alarms And Scandal, Nabbed In QC

NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the anti-criminality effort of the operatives of La Loma Police Station (PS-1) which led to the arrest of a suspect for alarms and scandal at about 12:40 in the afternoon of June 22, 2020.

According to the initial report, the suspect, for unknown reason was shouting on top of his voice in front of PCP 3, La Loma PS1 located at the corner of Dapitan cor Kanlaon Street, Brgy Sta. Teresita, Quezon City prompting the police officers to approach him.

Seeing the approaching police officers, the suspect right there and then fired his gun and tried to flee away resulting to a chase. Later on, he was cornered and frisked.

The suspect was identified as MARLOU RUEDA y DACOCO, male and a resident of Quezon City.

Recovered from his possession were the following pieces of evidence to wit:

1. One (1) Pietro Beretta 9mm pistol;

2. Two Magazines each loaded with 12 pieces of live ammunition;

3. Php 92,000.00 cash in different denominations; and

4. One (1) CAT brown pixelized sling bag.

The suspect was taken into custody of La Loma Police Station and will be facing charges for alarms and scandal and violation of RA 10591.

“The immediate and successful response by the elements of La Loma Police Station which led to the arrest of the above suspect is truly commendable. Let us all be vigilant as we are facing this pandemic while performing our sworn duties as public servants,”  PMGEN SINAS said.
