Early morning of Nov. 4, 2016 joint personnel of MPD and PDEA Operatives launched a buy-bust operation along Tambacan St., Binondo, Manila which led to the arrest of ROMMEL RODRIGUEZ y PRIMAVERA and ALBERT GASINGAN y DE LEON both resident of Parañaque City.
During the operation our personnel recovered 20 kilos of Shabu with estimated street value of Php100,000,000 million.
On October 26, 2016 the joint team of MPD PS-11 and PDEA Regional Office operatives implemented SW at unit 801 Magdalera Mansion, Masangkay St., Binondo, Manila that resulted to the arrest of four (4) suspects and the confiscation of five (5) kilos of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or Shabu worth and 15 kilos of Sodium Hydroxide worth fifty million pesos and two (2) pieces of .45 Caliber Pistol.

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) recorded zero crime incidents all over Metro Manila on the observation of UNDAS 2016.
NCRPO Acting Regional Director, PCSupt Oscar D Albayalde expressed his gratitude to the public for abiding the laws and regulations particularly inside the cemetery; media and press people for helping the police in information dissemination and constant reminder to the public on safety tips for UNDAS 2016; Local Government Units, Joint Task Force NCR, Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Reserved Command, Bureau of Fire, and Volunteer Groups for all the support and cooperation that made the observation of UNDAS 2016 very peaceful and secured.
