NCRPO SERVED THREE WARRANTS OF ARREST

The NCRPO Regional Special Operations Unit (RSOU) served (3) three Warrants of Arrest for Estafa cases against Emiliano Adrineda Jr y Acantilado, male, 38 years old. Accused is a native of Parañaque City, jobless, and resides in Barangay Talon Uno, Las Piñas City. He is presently detained at RSOU Custodial Facility, NCRPO. Two (2) pending Alias Warrant of Arrest were issued by HON. AIDA ESTRELLA MACAPAGAL and HON. AIDA ESTRELLA MACAPAGAL of RTC Branch 195, Parañaque City and another pending Alias Warrant of Arrest at RTC Branch 196, Parañaque City. All of which are with recommended bails of 40,000. pesos. Investigation disclosed that the victim of the accused was one Leslie Koteles, an Australian national he met in 2012. Adrineda who was an employee of SMDC, served as an agent in the units owned by the victim. In 2014, Koteles became a casino financer. The accused referred a Chinese national who was a player in Casino. Upon agreement, Koteles lent him money however, the said player failed to return it on the agreed date. Koteles exerted effort to locate the said foreign national but remained futile. Koteles then filed criminal charges against the one who reffered the Chinese debtor to him, Adrineda. Case records show that on January 23, 2019 Adrineda Jr was arrested by RSOU by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for violation of New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016. On March 25, 2019, a Release Order of Adrineda issued by HON. DANILO S. CRUZ, Executive Judge, RTC Branch 265, Pasig City was received by the RSOU jail officer to release him from custody for the concerned criminal case unless he is not being held or detained for other lawful cause/s. Said release order resulted to the confirmation of the three (3) pending warrants of arrest against Adrineda in the Office of Clerk of Court, Regional Trial Court (OCC-RTC), Parañaque City. The accused remains in the custody of RSOU office while awaiting further orders from the Court. The NCRPO under the leadership of the Regional Director PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR continues the momentum in intensifying anti-criminality campaign. PMGEN ELEAZAR said, "Patuloy natin hahabulin ang mga kriminal upang pagbayaran ang mga nagawa nila at hindi natin hahayaan na makawala sila sa kamay ng batas".
