NCRPO Regional Director PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR identified the accused as James Czarvi Esguerra y Camenting @ JC, 33 year old, married, Recovery Analyst at Optimum, native of Taytay, Rizal and a resident of No. 18 Saint Andrew St., Saint Michael Subd., Brgy San Miguel, Taguig City. The accused was arrested by virtue of Alias Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Jennifer A. Santos-De Lumen, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 18-FC, 4th Judicial Region, Cainta, Rizal for the crime of Other Acts of Child Abuse (Non Support) of RA 7610 Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act in relation to RA 8369 Family Courts Act of 1997). The operation stemmed from the complaint of Esguerra's wife who personally appeared at RSOU office and sought police assistance for the possible arrest of accused. Information gathered through surveillance, monitoring and lateral coordination led to the arrest of Esguerra. Case records revealed that from 2010 to 2013, the accused did not provide financial support to his minor son after he got separated to the complainant sometimes in 2010. It was 2014 when he started to give financial support for his son. In 2016, the accused sired a child to another woman and refused to continue supporting his son despite of the letter sent to him.The complaint then decided to file a case of non-support against Esguerra. Accused was later brought to RSOU office for proper documentation and disposition. The accused will remain in the custody of RSOU office pending the legal orders from the court of origin. The NCRPO Regional Director lauded the operatives for this accomplishment.
